Likely Continental, first quarter 20th century or earlier (one frame later), group of two hand painted fans in shadow box frames comprising: a fan with celluloid or bone sticks and having a figural landscape scene, and a fan with celluloid sticks, gold-tone lace, and figural landscape scene signed "Bauly", the first fan apparently unmarked. Provenance: From the Blakely Estate, Buford, Georgia. Approx. of the largest, h. 15", w. 23.5", d. 2".
Condition
Not examined out of the frames; tear lower left to paper frame; lace is curled around panel on celluloid fan.
