The Dave Clark Five holds the distinction of being the second British Invasion act to appear on The Ed Sullivan Show as well as being the act which knocked The Beatles’ “I Want to Hold Your Hand” off of the UK Singles Chart with “Glad All Over.” They were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2008.
