Two Chinese Export Porcelain Plates for the Persian Market
1750-1800, porcelain hand painted in the Famille Rose palette with decoration of widening shield form reserves around a central rondel, each reserve painted with a single flowerhead, the underside of each plate is marked with a brushed-on cipher of a double triangle.
Larger Plate 13 5/8 in.; Smaller Plate 10 1/2 in.
