Frederick Augustus III of Saxony – a diamond brooch, a large presentation vase and three photographs, 1st third of the 20th centuryThe brooch made of 8 carat gold, the diamond-studded sovereign's cipher "FA" below a crown appliquéd on the hinged lid (see Hermann Historica Auction 49, lot 471, presentation brooch "FA" with cover letter). Horizontal pin on the back, height 30 mm, total weight 12.5 g, in a new presentation case. Also includes a large vase in fine condition, made of glazed porcelain, painted in colour and partially gilt, the base stamped with the mark of Porzellanmanufaktur Reichenbach 1918 - 1948 and the inscription "Dresden handgemalt", the coat of arms of Frederick Augustus III on the front and the Saxon electoral coat of arms on the back, height 35 cm. Moreover, a portrait photograph of the king in uniform (embossed stamp "1904", "Klinkhardt & Eyssen, Dresden-A.") behind glass, in an old frame with the original adhesive (rubbed, dimensions 34 x 26 cm), the gilder's label "Max Steyer, Dresden-Neustadt" on the back. Plus a photograph on cardboard of the king in uniform (dimensions 16 x 10.5 cm) and a photograph of the king's visit to the von Kospoth home, labelled on the back (dimensions 11 x 16 cm).
