Description
A group of 3 Korean celadon porcelains dating from the Lee dynasty. Included in the group are: a round seal box with a flower motif on top, a bowl with a lucky coin and a short foot, and a small jar with a band of floral medallions.
Dimensions are: the jar measures 2 1/2 inches tall X 3 inches wide, 6.35 cm X 7.62 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: The seal box has a chip to the lid, cracks, and firing defects, the bowl has crazing, and the jar has three cracks with hairlines to the rim.
Provenance: From the estate of Lim Kee Chin, who was Singapore's trade commissioner to Hong Kong in the 1960s. Mr. Lim acquired these items while he was in Hong Kong.
