Together with excellent directions for cookery: as also for preserving, conserving, candying, &c., first edition, title within woodcut typographic border, woodcut head-pieces and initials, 19th century recipes for wines to front free endpaper, lacking portrait frontispiece, L6 torn with loss of text, some foxing and staining, lightly browned, 19th century purple cloth, sympathetically rebacked, preserving original backstrip with earlier black leather label, little rubbed and marked, [Bitting p.124; Cagle 654a.; Oxford p.34; Simon BG 502; Wing D1427], 8vo, Printed by E[llen].
