Rose Mary Charley Navajo 9mm-14mm Turquoise and Solid Sterling Silver 26" Squash Blossom Necklace - This beautiful squash blossom necklace was made by Navajo artisan Rose Mary Charley. The artist created the piece from handmade sterling silver "Navajo Pearl" beads and finished the necklace with sterling silver cones resembling an actual flower of the squash plant running down each side. It is finished with a large 3.5" x 2.75" crescent shaped "Naja" pendant and lined with genuine 9mm-14mm vivid blue turquoise nuggets. The necklace measures 26" in length and is signed "Rose Mary Charley". This necklace comes from a collection which has been housed in a vault for over 40 years. According to our seller, her parents started in the Native American jewelry business in 1972, and the family would travel to the New Mexico Native American reservations and purchase pieces directly from the tribes.
