**First Time At Auction**
North America, United States, North Carolina, ca. 1795 CE. A handwritten parchment land indenture detailing the contract between a John Blackwell and another John from Rutherford County in North Carolina - the other man's surname is not easily discernable due to handwriting style. The sum of the land amounted to 44 pounds of "good and lawful money." This document is professionally mounted in a wood and glass frame and ready to be displayed. Size (document): 12.75" L x 9.5" W (32.4 cm x 24.1 cm); (frame): 23.74" L x 20" W (60.3 cm x 50.8 cm)
