A GROUP OF PATRIOTIC COSTUMES MADE FOR ROY
Comprising a cotton and satin jacket with half-American, half-German stylized flag design, featuring national patches to chest and sleeves, and a SARMOTI globe patch at back, with matching shirt; three American-German vests adorned with patches and white tiger embroidery to the back; and a blue linen jacket edged in chain detail and Bavarian patches to sleeves, with a blue satin tie embroidered with white tiger and Bavarian coat of arms. Each bearing a Roy/Custom Tailor by George label.
Footnotes:
Roy often wore these jackets and vests to show off his German roots, especially for German-themed events in Las Vegas. He is photographed wearing the long-sleeed jacket in this lot at the 10th Annual Oktoberfest at Hofbrauhaus, Las Vegas on 14 September, 2013.
