A PAIR OF COSTUMES WORN BY SIEGFRIED & ROY ON STAGE AT THE FRONTIER CIRCA 1980S
The jackets of gold satin embellished with gold sequins, encrusted with silver bugle beads and aurora borealis rhinestones in starburst patterns. The tailcoat worn by Siegfried bearing an Eaves-Brooks Costume Co. label handwritten 'Siegfried' to interior lining, and the jacket worn by Roy, with a pair of matching stretch satin pants bearing an Eaves-Brooks Costume Co. label handwritten 'Roy' to interior waistband.
Footnotes:
Siegfried and Roy are pictured wearing these costumes on the color promotional poster for their show, 'Beyond Belief' at the Frontier Hotel in the 1980s. They also wore these costumes for their appearance in the movie Lookin' To Get Out. Released in 1982, the movie was a comedy about the adventures of a poker player played by Jon Voigt and starring his then 7-year-old daughter, Angelina Jolie, in her acting debut.
