STERLING SILVER CHECK CUTTER
Late 19th Century
Acid-etched and engraved. One side with three vignettes depicting “The Voyage of Life”. The other side with engraved monogram, the seal for the State of Rhode Island dated October 21, 1896 and a scene of Roger Williams’ landing in 1636. Marked “sterling”. No company mark, but possibly made by Gorham or Knowles & Ladd. Length 10”. Width 2.75”.
