A transitional-style kingwood and ormolu bijouterie table in the manner of François Linke, A transitional-style kingwood and ormolu bijouterie table in the manner of François Linke, c.1900, French, the oval top with a bevelled glass pane, enclosing a silk-lined interior, above a panelled frieze with applied floral swags, raised on slender supports terminating in sabots, 61cm wide 46.5cm deep 75cm high Provenance: The residual contents of Bixley Manor by instruction of the executors of Sir Timothy Colman KG. Condition Report: Stains, marks and wear to the interior, which looks to be original. Veneer to the interior rim and underside of lid appears to have suffered water damage, as corroborated by the stains to the silk. A little wobble in joints. Some mounts loose. One piece of frieze moulding a little loose. General surface scratches, small splits and wear to veneer.
