Description
On the base is a six-character square seal (made in the Qianlong reign of the Qing dynasty) in blue on white underglaze.
A small vase with a tall, straight neck on a cylindrical main body, which is narrower at the bottom, on a short base with a rounded profile. Around the body is a continuous scene depicting flowers and bushes with rocks and butterflies. On the shoulders there are two borders, one of ruyi and the other of scales and flowers. Around the neck are large leaves. Each part is encircled by a double circle.
The design is outlined in cobalt blue and filled in yellow and blue underglaze glaze and overglaze glazes in green, red and yellow using the 'doucai' technique.
The piece is in perfect condition with no breakages or restorations.
