Description
On the base is a six-character square seal in underglaze cobalt-blue (made in the Qianlong reign of the Qing dynasty).
An oval vase with a blue ground and enamelled, with detail, in red. The decoration is divided into bands separated by a triple line. On each side there is a handle-like protuberance with an enamelled head and a gilded ring. The lower band depicts cartouches followed by fierce waves. The two central bands are scrolled with leaves, flowers and lotuses. The one at the shoulders has banana leaves. And finally, around the neck, a line of waves.
