A large engraved armorial rummer, circa 1800
The generous ovoid bowl with the arms of the Worshipful Company of Weavers, the shield with a chevron of three roses between three leopard's heads, each holding a shuttle in their mouth, the crest a crowned leopard's head, within husk festoons, a banner below inscribed with the motto 'WEAVE TRUTH WITH TRUST', the reverse with hops and barley, set on a collar above a short plain stem and circular foot, 19cm high
