Description
A rare Worcester coffee cup, circa 1755
The corrugated sides moulded with eight vertical panels with gently arched tops below a shaped and everted rim, the ribbed foot also lobed, the delicate moulded handle with a scrolled thumbrest, painted with two leafy floral sprigs surrounded by scattered insects, a red line and half-flowerheads below the rim, 6.3cm high
