Condition
The chamberstick is in good condition save for some wear to the gilding. The gilded border around the edge of the nozzle has completely worn away save for a few small patches that remain. There is a little wear to the gilded foliate decoration on the handle and a few tiny patches on the gilded borders around the foot and inner part of the nozzle. The saucer is in good condition save for some patches on wear to the gilded rectangular border around the feather decoration. The extent of the wear can be seen on careful examination of the catalogue photo. The patches are mainly in the top left hand corner and bottom right hand corner with a smaller area just below the top right hand corner.
