A Chinese incised pink ground famille rose vase dating from the Republic period. The body features a scholar and two attendants strolling through a landscape. The bottom has a 4-character mark. The whole scene is set against a ground of incised swirls.

Dimensions are: 5 1/4 inches tall X 3 3/4 inches in diameter, 13.3 cm X 9.5 cm. All measurements are approximate.

Provenance: From a private Atlanta, Georgia collection.

Condition: The whole rim and interior has been repaired and overpainted. Chipping present throughout.
