JFK Grave Site Requests, A Lovely Pair of Letters
Two typed letters written in 1964 to Mrs. William L. Ferrell in response to a request sent to Jackie for placing flowers at JFK's gravesite.
The first letter from Jacqueline Kennedy, composed and signed by her Secretary, on mourning stationery with black borders. "She is only sorry that the tremendous volume of mail arriving every day prevents her from writing a personal note..." 6.25" x 9.25" with the original mailing envelope.
The second letter from Paul Miller, Chief of Special Events, asking Mrs. Ferrell for an exact date on which she wishes to visit "as visitors at the late President's gravesite are usually very active..." 7.75" x 10.5". Both are in fine condition.
