A limited first edition of Aldous Huxley (1894-1963), "Point Counter Point" (London: Chatto & Windus, 1928), signed by Huxley on the limitation page as: "Aldous Huxley." Limited edition, 183/256. Hardcover, with green boards and gilt lettering on the spine. No dust jacket. Of the deckled pages, some are still uncut. Expected wear including light toning and minor adhesive stains to the front and back pastedown and loose endpapers. Else clean and crisp within. The spine is gently sunned. There is slight bumping to the book edges and corners, else near fine, being protected by Mylar plastic. 6" x 8.5" x 1.625." 8vo. 601pp.

Aldous Huxley was a British expatriate writer who explored the literary subgenres of social satire, science fiction, and philosophy. He was nominated nine times for the Nobel Prize in Literature for such works as "Brave New World" (1932).
