A PAIR OF ENAMELED PORCELAIN DISHES, QING
China, 1644-1912. The dishes with shallow rounded sides rising to an edge with six ridges, finely painted in polychrome enamels and with gold and iron-red above the glaze, depicting a garden scene with a lady holding an umbrella, a young boy playing with pheasants, and a bat in flight above.
Provenance: Dutch private collection, acquired in the German auction market.
Condition: Very good condition, minor wear mostly to the gilt.
