THREE KESI 'IMMORTALS' SILK PANELS, LATE QING DYNASTY
China, 1900s. Each finely woven with silk thread in the Kesi technique, depicting immortals, court attendants, and dignitaries in landscapes, all framed by a band of lotus sprays woven with gold thread and mounted on boards.
Condition: Wear, minor visible losses, soiling, few loose threads, and minor old repairs. Two panels with minor breakages to the board at the bottom. Overall presenting very well.
Provenance: Swedish private collection, acquired in the Danish trade.
Dimensions: 102 x 29 cm
