"Map of Hamilton Farm and Adjacent Properties, Bridle Paths, Roads, etc. in Hunterdon, Morris & Somerset Counties, in the State of New Jersey" by F.S. Tainter, March, 1935. Details include Somerset Hills Golf Course, Bogen Fox & Hounds, Schley Polo Field, Burnt Mill Polo Fields, Meeting Points of the Essex Fox & Hounds, Sisters of St. John the Baptist Convent, Schiff Reservation - Boy Scouts of America, more. In black and gold frame, laid on board under UV plexiglass, OS: 25" x 20", SS: 20 1/2" x 16". Toned, upper corners abraded from tape. In 1911, Wall Street financier James Cox Brady purchased 180 acres in New Jersey for $100 per acre only 50 miles outside of New York City. It was said that Brady initially spent $1 million on developing the property. He named the farm after his wife, Elizabeth Jane Hamilton Brady.
