清 紫檀嵌镶百宝螺钿喜上眉梢花鸟八棱盖盒

盖面以螺钿、玛瑙、松石、孔雀石等为材料，镶嵌“喜上眉梢”图。一喜鹊侧首于梅花枝头上，枯石位于左下方，梅花盛开色彩鲜艳。紫檀黑地衬托着五彩，沉著大方、相得益彰。

Qing Dynasty, A Rare Hardstone and Mother-of-Pearl Embellished Zitan Octagonal-Lobed Box

The cover finely inlaid with carved mother-of-pearl, coral, stained bone and wood to depict flowering branches of prunus with a bird in flight above rockwork and encircled with a key-fret band. The sides of the cover and the box similarly decorated with continuous bouquet scrolls.
