Description
Five (5) armorial enameled polychrome and parcel-gilt porcelain items, including Chamberlain's Worcester and Edme Samson. 1st - 2nd items: Pair (2) of Chamberlain's Worcester armorial porcelain plates with Rich Kakiemon-style, Dejeuney patterned borders with foliate reserves and gilt design on cobalt ground having central crest of a black dog seated on a striped baton with banner motto "Faithful not Fawning" above. Both with script Chamberlain's Worcester mark to underside. 9 1/4" dia. English, early 19th century. 3rd - 5th items: Three (3) Edme Samson Chinese Export Armorial style items, each decorated with coats-of-arms to one side and floral and white enameled decorations throughout, including a pair of two (2) lidded urns with foo dog finials and one (1) encrier or inkwell, oval form, with two shallow reserves, removable lidded compartment, and four paw feet on a plinth base. Urns unmarked; inkwell with red Edme Samson Asian style mark to underside. Ranging in size from 3 1/4" H x 4 7/8" W x 4" D to 9" H x approx. 3 1/2" dia. French, 19th century.

Condition
All items in overall good condition with scattered minute wear to polychrome and parcel-gilt decoration. 1st - 2nd items: Minute surface scratches. 3rd - 5th items: Urns with residue to lids; one urn with previous repair at neck with hairlines, largest measuring approximately 3" L. Inkwell with losses to underside, largest measuring 1 1/8" x 3/8".
