Description
Bonnybrook Farm near Carlisle Cumberland County. The letter enumerates horses and feed taken by Confederates when they occupied Carlisle Pennsylvania on the eve of the Battle of Gettysburg. The single page document on lined paper is an original owner’s copy of what was submitted to the Commonwealth for reparation payments. Framed in a Wendell and Ann Pass frame. Together with a Mrs. Mary Spotts death or funerary card. Very good condition for age. IMPORTANT: Before bidding, please read the terms and conditions.
