(5) archaic style items including ge dagger axe having carved jade blade and bronze handle, bronze pole arm head having carved jade axe blade and bronze axe having carved jade / hardstone handle, all retaining collection labels; a carved jade axe having jade handle with bronze shaft and spearhead; and a carved jade axe having bronze handle with inlaid adornments
Provenance: The Estate of George 'Yorgo' Demetrakopoulos; professor, assistant director of the Medieval Institute and assistant to the dean at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan from 1965-2000

Condition: Good, overall light to moderate wear consistent with material and normal use; moderate oxidation to bronze components throughout; jade-handled axe having some chips to axe blade; no major chips or cracks noted; bronze axe missing an adornment; dirt / debris accumulation
