(2) items including a Tibetan wedding box having painted geometric design with metal fittings and a Burmese offering basket
Provenance: The Estate of George 'Yorgo' Demetrakopoulos; professor, assistant director of the Medieval Institute and assistant to the dean at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan from 1965-2000
Exhibitions: Art Center of Battle Creek, 'The Faces of Buddha', April 7-27, 2019

Height: 16 inches, Diameter: 17 inches (basket)
Condition: Very Good to Good, overall light to moderate wear, cracking, finish loss, dirt accumulation; basket having cracks (possibly repairs) at base of all legs; box latch slightly bent, rust to metal
