Golliwog, one of the highlights of our auction, unusual felt-doll, produced from 1909-1912, based on the fictional book character by the author Florence Kate Upton, jointed, underlaid shoe button eyes, distinct nose, smiling mouth, with small button, block letters, long trailing F, minimally rests of the white cloth tag label, swivel head, black mohair hair, at single places slightly worn, movable arms and legs, single felt faults, partially retouched, at back and at the upper part of the body, hands were probably 1x professional over sewed with black fabric, red cotton pants, partially mended, black leather boot, 60 cm, unusual size, this is the first Golliwog with 60 cm that is known to us, the item is located in Switzerland and will be shipped from there- so customs duties and handling costs may arise!

Golliwog, eines der Highlights unserer Auktion, außergewöhnliche Filz-Puppe, hergestellt von 1909-1912, basierend auf den fiktiven Buchfiguren der Autorin Florence Kate Upton, gegliedert, unterlegte Schuhknopfaugen, ausgeprägte Nase, lächelnder Mund, mit kl. Knopf, Druckbuchstaben, langgezogenes f, minim. Reste der weißen Fahne, drehbarer Kopf, schwarze Mohair-Haare, an vereinzelten Stellen etwas berieben, bewegl. Arme u. Beine, vereinzelte Filz-Fehler, teilw. überarbeitet, am Rücken sowie am Oberkörper, Hände wurden wohl 1x mit schwarzem Stoff professionell übernäht, rote Baumwollhose, teilw. geflickt, schwarze Lederstiefel, 60 cm, außergewöhnliche Gr., dies ist der 1. Golliwog in 60 cm der uns bekannt ist, das Objekt befindet sich in der Schweiz und wird von dort aus versendet - es können Zoll - und Bearbeitungsgebühren anfallen!
