4to. 16 color plates by John R. Neill. Publisher's blue cloth stamped in black, with pictorial applique on cover, matching pictorial dust jacket, custom cloth slipcase. Rubbed and slightly soiled to cloth, spine ends and corners bumped, light scuffing to applied panel on upper cover, small tear to title page, dust jack restored, with soiling, toning and creases.

FIRST EDITION, FIRST STATE, IN THE FIRST BINDING, with three titles listed in advertisement on verso of half-title, captioned color plates, and 'A' binding with 'The Reilly &/ Britton Co.' stamped in black at the bottom of the spine. The fourth book in the Oz series. Hanff & Greene IV, 32.
