Rare lithograph of the festivities at the May Turnfest, otherwise known as the May Festival of the Turnverein Association, in San Francisco. The Turnverein was an assembly of Germanic character. The May Festival was the high point of their year. At the bottom of the print is a list of some 176 Teutonic-sounding names, alphabetically arranged, evidently members of the association. Among the onlookers of the events are several Chinese. No copies are listed in OCLC.

Creased along centerfolds and a few other places, some mat burn, adhesion remnant in lower left margin; about very good.
