AMERICAN SCHOOL (LATE 19TH / EARLY 20TH C) FOLK ART CAT PAINTING, oil on board, depicting a cat with green-eyes situating itself in a stage-like setting, no signature located. Housed in a tiger male frame by Jim Sheppard. Possibly after British illustrator Helena J. Maguire. Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century. 18" x 11 3/4" sight, 21 1/4" x 15 1/4" OA.
