Description
A Chinese celadon glazed ewer, dating from the Tang dynasty (618-906). From an unglazed lower area the glaze continues to the inside of the ewer. A curved handle from the short neck below th flared mouth to the body. Opposite side is a stubby spout. Two rings to hold a rope on the other sides. A flat bottom with a black Chinese character on the base.
