A large Chinese blue & white floral plate, dating from the Ming dynasty (1368-1644). This massive, deep plate has a large flower design in the center with seven smaller flowers surrounding it., within double blue circles. The expansive rim has multiple flowers alternating with Chinese designs, and framed by two single blue circles. A design in blue glaze also around the small foot.

Condition: Encrustation on the glaze in the center, little warp ,surface wear and abrasion, two restored area to the rim approx 1/3 of the rim
