A Japanese Imari Center Bowl
Meiji period (1868-1912), finely painted in cobalt blue, iron red, with highlights in gilt, green and aubergine, shaped registers alternating between large floral blooms and scenic landscape with chrysanthemums under hanging wisteria, circle pattern to rim, exterior sides decorated in similar manner, blue mark to underside, comes together with carved wooden stand.
4 5/8 in., 12 1/4 in. diameter; with stand 6 1/4 in., 12 1/4 in.
