Condition: there are only front and rear cardboard of the folder – rubbed, stained; Aquatints are in good condition only stains, some cracks and wear to fields – to some plates more to some –minimal
Light brown paper to pages with text, tears, small missing places and creasing to edges, some foxing stains
Fritz Schwimbeck (1889-1972) Munich painter, graphic artist and Illustrator
Fritz Schwimbeck studied painting and sculpting at the technical university in his hometown Munich under the guidance of Friedrich Bodenmüller and M. Kaeer. As an autodidact he created etchings. Five years of art historical studies followed. Schwimbeck travelled to Italy, Croatia, Greece, Palestine, Egypt and Turkey.
