A lot of 68 mid-century color postcards representing the views and pavilions of the 1939 New York World's Fair and 1968 HemisFair. The postcards are presented in transparent plastic files. Some of the items are signed on the backside. The 1939 New York World's Fair themed Dawn of a New Day was held in Queens and was the second-most expensive American world's fair of all time. The fair was closed earlier due to the beginning of the World War II. HemisFair 68 was the official 1968 International Exposition held in San Antonio, Texas. The theme of the fair was The Confluence of Civilizations in the Americas, celebrating the many nations which settled the region.
