Description
Ca. 85-165 AD A Roman Flavian marble portrait of a woman, possibly Vibia Matidia. The bust with an elaborate high peaked coiffure composed of rows of tight drilled curls rising from her forehead, her hairstyle captivates by its high piled up curls in the front head area and the elaborately created lichen nest at the back of the head.
