First edition of Pelham Grenville aka "Plum" Wodehouse's first book introducing the oft-revisited Blanding's Castle. Originally published serially in the Saturday Evening Post from June-August 1915, the first book edition would be published on 3 September, 1915. The British edition would be published by Methuen later in the same month, on 16 September, 1915 under the title Something Fresh. McIlvaine A18a. "62" inked at top left of front free endpaper with offsetting to pastedown.

Condition
Rubbing with mild fraying at ends of somewhat sunned, creased and leaning spine, mild soiling; front hinge just starting from head, rear hinge repaired, light foxing to title page and frontispiece; about very good.
