A GEORGE III SILVER EPERGNE, by Thomas Pitts, London 1773, oval form, partially fluted and with swag decoration, beaded borders, a hanging apron of swag decoration, medallions with urns, with a central pierced basket engraved with an armorial and with beaded borders, with six reeded scroll arms, supporting two oval baskets and four circular dishes engraved with crests and with pierced decoration, on four scroll legs terminating in pierced shell-form feet. Height 33.5cm, length 49.5cm, 101 troy ounces
