In original box with nice graphics showing Rin Tin Tin in upper-left corner, marked "A. Herbert B. Leonard Production 1956 Screen Gems, Inc.". Box contains Rusty figure, Rin Tin Tin, Lt. Rip Masters, cavalry figures, Indians, stockade, cabin, teepees, horses, shell-shooting cabins, canoe, tree, flag, block houses and other accessories. The first Rin Tin Tin sets were made by Marx in 1957, this one is marked "Series 5000 No. 3683R" and is probably the most valued out of the sets they made, c. 1958. Based on the program "The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin", airing from 1954 to 1959, starring child actor Lee Aaker as Rusty, a boy orphaned in an Indian raid, and his German Shepherd dog, Rin Tin Tin. This particular set is complete and in excellent condition, with a small amount of damage to the front gate, but not very noticeable in the fort setup. Box is in excellent condition, instructions are reproduction, and there is some slight creasing and staining to the box. Condition: (Excellent). Dimensions: 24" x 15" x 4 - 1/2".
