A set of twelve Swedish Neoclassical style parcel gilt and paint decorated dining chairs
after a model by Louis Masreliez (1748-1810)
post 1950
With brass nailhead upholstered leather backs and seats.
height 35in (89cm); width 26 1/4in (66.5cm); depth of seat 18in (46cm)

Property from the Collection of Craig Wright.
Footnote:Louis Masreliez designed the Sullastool for Gustav III's pavilion at Haga around 1790. The original model was the antique Greek Klismos chair, with strong curved back and bent legs, as depicted in ancient Greek art.

Condition
All structurally sound, with scattered dings, dents and small losses to the gilt and paint decoration. The leather with some cracking to surface.
