Golden plover form the Morton rig, Nantucket, Massachusetts, last quarter 19th century. Relief carved wing tips. Branded "WS Morton" on underside of tail. Double stick holes where wire legs were used. Measures 11" long.

Excellent dry original paint with very minor wear; very minor roughness on edge of tail; bill is a professional replacement by Russ Allen.
