Hard boards, original publisher's cloth with illustration on the front board [some wear, a few repaired cloth damages on spine: see photo]; 5.1/4" x 7.3/4"; color frontispiece, 617 pages + 14 plates on glossy paper, a little wear, one page corner fold, very good condition.
