Miniature Immigrant Trunk; Varnished Cigar Box; and Folk Art Bank in the Form of a Building
Trunk has rosemaled decoration, late 19th/early 20th century, with working lock and key, and marked “Tri Grindring” (handwritten note translates this as “In remembrance”), 8 3/4” x 5 1/4” x 5 1/8”. Box is carved, late 19th century, “The Boss Havana Cheroots, Havana Clippings,” lid detached, 10” x 4 5/8” x 2 3/4”. Bank is carved, late 19th/early 20th century, fruit crate labels visible inside, 6 1/2” x 5” x 4 1/8”.
