Lot of four reproduction German anti-Semitic posters, all approx. 25 x 33 in., titled: ‘The Jewish World Plague’, ‘The Father – The Commanders’, ‘Anyone who buys from Jews is a traitor to the people’, and ‘Attention – Jew!’. All posters bear caricatures of Jewish men and women, with one featuring a snake winding around the earth and a Nazi sword piercing the snake. The fifth poster features a caricature of Joseph Stalin praying in front of a menorah, reading: ‘What is the truth? The plutocracy, once fought by Stalin as a mortal evil, is now implored by him. To the Bolshevik at the altar of plutocreacy’, suggesting he has fallen under the control of Jewish leaders. All posters bear a horizontal fold at the center and some chipping and tears at the edges. Overall very good.
