Fine silver or silver-plated picture frame, 8 x 10 in. overall, displays a zeppelin at the top and engraved in a period style at the bottom: 'HINDENBURG LZ-129' Unmarked, tarnished in places, else very good. This is undoubtedly a period frame, engraved at the time. It was likely sold as a souvenir to passengers to encase a memorable photograph from their voyage aboard the ill-fated airship.
