Pair of Cedric Hartman Brass and Chrome Floor Lamps

second half 20th century, each with an adjustable brass-banded chrome standard and brass tent shade, the bases stamped "Cedric Hartman" in block and script letters and "800425" with one also stamped "900545R" and "Made in U.S.A.".

Both examples have a brass ball on/off/dimmer switch and are in working order. The tents slide off to facilitate bulb replacement. Brass components exhibit varying degrees of oxidation with the chrome stems generally clear and shining. Example stamped "Made in USA" is lacking one small black "foot" under the base. Other example: The tent leans a bit downward. There is a partial loss to one brass keeper on the stems, so the height remains at 34" at the moment. It will move up and down, but is lacking part of the brass keeper that keeps it in place when raised.
