Moser Gilded and Enameled Pitcher With Salamander, c.1890, in pale olive green glass with dramatic applied scroll handle in the form of a lizard, decorated in red, blue and white enamel on a gilded ground, the neck and everted spout overlaid with a heavy layer of drip form glass, gilded and enameled with flying insects and beetles, the translucent glass body enameled with fern leaves, a bird in flight and dragonflies. The base enameled later with a pattern similar to that on the body but not original to the piece.

Dimensions: 10.75 in.h.

Condition: Professional repair to 4 or 5 overlay drips to top of pitcher, otherwise very good with general wear to gilding.
