A pair of Empire parcel gilt and white painted fauteuils
early 19th century
height 37 1/4in (95cm); width 25in (63.5cm); depth of seat 18 1/2in (47cm)

Condition

height of seat 18 1/2in; height of arms 26 1/2in; overall depth 22in. Structurally sound. Redecorated. General marks, nicks, scratches, rubbing, cracks and wear commensurate with age and use. Later decoration possibly obscuring repairs. Scattered nicked losses to timber in areas. Some separation notable at joints. With pins visible to one chair at front of seatrail securing patera panels . More notable wear to legs. Upholstery clean.
